Full job description
We are a local family run solar company in the Wide Bay region and is seeking an experienced Solar/Battery Electrician to run a dynamic new team in Hervey Bay. This is a full-time role and will involve the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar and battery storage systems. As a key member and leader of a trades team, you will play a vital role in helping us deliver sustainable energy solutions to our growing client base.
Note - you do not need to be battery accredited to apply, we will put you through the necessary training.
What you'll be doing
- Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar photovoltaic and battery storage systems
- Conducting site assessments and providing recommendations to clients
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards
- Adhering to all relevant safety and quality standards, as well as company policies and procedures
- Providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our clients
- Participating in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices
What we're looking for
- Qualifications: Qualified electrician with a current CEC Solar Accreditation
- Skills: Excellent technical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Licenses/Certifications: Current driver's license, White Card, and other relevant industry certifications
