About the Role
We’re looking for a Junior Stock Controller to own the end‑to‑end management of our solar and battery inventory. You’ll work closely with suppliers, installers, and our operations team to ensure materials are always in the right place, at the right time, in the right quantities.
This role suits someone who thrives on accuracy, and enjoys keeping a fast‑moving operation running like clockwork. You’ll forecast stock needs, manage purchase orders, track deliveries, maintain accurate inventory records, and solve problems before they become roadblocks.
This is a full‑time, office‑based role in North Sydney (5 minutes from The Metro and North Sydney Station).
What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintain accurate stock levels across all warehouses and storage locations
- Create and manage purchase orders with suppliers
- Coordinate inbound deliveries and ensure materials arrive on time
- Track and reconcile stock movements
- Work closely with installers to forecast upcoming material needs
- Prepare and allocate stock for upcoming jobs
- Investigate discrepancies and resolve issues quickly
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners
- Keep our CRM and inventory systems updated with exceptional accuracy
- Support the operations team with ad‑hoc logistics and materials queries
- Drive operational efficiency through organised, proactive stock control
What You’ll Bring
- 1-2 years experience in stock control, warehousing, logistics or supply chain
- Excellent organisational skills and follow‑through
- Confident communicator who can manage multiple stakeholders
- A proactive, “get it done” attitude
- Comfortable working with inventory systems, spreadsheets and CRMs
