This position plays a critical role in safeguarding and enhancing project commercial outcomes by managing contracts, procurement processes, cost controls, and subcontractor performance from project commencement through to completion.
Working closely with the Operations Manager - Commercial, you will contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality projects by ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, minimising commercial risk, strengthening stakeholder engagement, and maximising value across all project phases in a dynamic Tier 3 developer-builder environment.
With multiple high-end commercial and lifestyle projects underway and upcoming in VIC, NSW & QLD, the team is looking for an experienced, detail-driven Contract Administrator to support these projects.
Your responsibilities will include:

Managing tenders, subcontractor procurement & negotiations

Preparing and reviewing subcontracts, variations, progress claims & payments

Developing scopes of work and construction documentation

Maintaining procurement schedules, budget reports, and financial forecasts

Liaising with suppliers, consultants, site teams, and estimating
-
Administering contracts in accordance with project and legal requirements
-
Supporting risk identification and mitigation throughout the build process
To be successful you must have:
-
2+ years’ experience in commercial contract administration
-
Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying

Strong working knowledge of Australian Standard contracts, NCC, and relevant legislation

Proven ability to interpret architectural, structural and services drawings/specifications
-
Experience with construction software (ideally Procore, CUBIT and digital document platforms)

Exceptional organisational and stakeholder management skills
