The Apprentice - Mechatronics role is designed for individuals looking to build a successful career in engineering and machine tool assembly. Under the supervision of the OHS and Training Advisor, you will develop essential trade skills and technical expertise while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
Throughout the apprenticeship, you will engage in a structured training program with a registered Training Organization (RTO), progressing through various units of competency. Your responsibilities will include hands-on assembly, fitting, and machining tasks, as well as maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
This position will commence on a casual basis from October 2026, with the formal apprenticeship commencing in February 2027.
We are seeking motivated individuals who are eager to learn and develop their skills in the mechatronics field. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in mechanical, electrical, and automation technologies, alongside the ability to work accurately and methodically.
- Essential: Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade MEM30219; Year 10 education (Year 12 preferred).
- Desirable: Prior exposure to manufacturing environments, such as pre-apprenticeship or structured work experience.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a flexible, can-do attitude.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
