About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Management Accountant to join our Head Office based in Applecross. Reporting to senior leadership, this role will provide financial and commercial support across a diverse portfolio of legal entities and businesses operating under the Brindle Group umbrella. The position plays a critical role in delivering timely financial reporting, performance insights and strategic analysis that supports sound decision-making across a complex multi-entity environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes across a diverse portfolio of businesses and entities
- Analyse operational costs, gross margins and business performance to identify trends, opportunities and efficiencies
- Deliver pricing, profitability and margin insights that support commercial and operational decision-making
- Monitor store and business performance against budgets, targets and key performance indicators
- Prepare meaningful management reports and provide financial insights to support senior leadership decision-making
- Support effective financial controls and identify potential risks, improvement opportunities and process enhancements
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to contribute to strategic planning and business initiatives
- Assist with evaluating capital expenditure and investment opportunities across the group
- Develop and track performance benchmarks across stores and business functions to drive continuous improvement
- Support initiatives that improve operational performance, efficiency and overall business outcomes
- Drive enhancements to reporting systems, automation and processes to improve business visibility and decision-making
About You
- Degree qualifications in Accounting, Commerce or Finance
- CA or CPA qualified (or near completion preferred)
- At least 1 to 2 years experience in Management Accounting or similar
- Retail, FMCG, hospitality or multi-site experience highly regarded
- Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
