Job Description
About the Role

Our Day Procedure Unit is looking for new team members.
-
Recent previous experience within either a surgical or acute medical ward is essential, and perioperative and/or day surgery experience is desirable.

You will be responsible for the assessment, planning, coordination and evaluation of patients.
As a Registered Nurse you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered within the unit.

To succeed in this role, you will be a positive and effective team player with excellent clinical and interpersonal skills. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be dedicated to providing patient focused care.
You will also demonstrate:

Current registration with AHPRA
-
Recent experience in a surgical/medical ward

Perioperative or day surgery experience preferred

Demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills
-
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
This position requires someone with flexibility and the ability work in a fast-paced environment.
