A Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining IT infrastructure for clients. The role ensures the reliability, security, and performance of servers, networks, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems while providing technical expertise and support for infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain Windows and Linux server environments.
- Administer cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
- Implement security updates, backups, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Configure and maintain virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Support network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and VPNs.
- Collaborate with project teams to deliver infrastructure upgrades and migrations.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and system configurations.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and industry best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
