Pay: $115-125 per hour, depending on experience
OT Linkcaring is seeking a Speech Pathologist contractor to join our growing allied health team. This role offers flexible working hours and the opportunity to work with NDIS participants across a range of age groups and disabilities.
Role / Responsibilities
- Conduct speech pathology assessments and provide evidence-based recommendations for NDIS participants.
- Assess and provide intervention for communication, language, speech and social communication difficulties.
- Assess and provide intervention for swallowing and mealtime-related difficulties, where within scope of practice.
- Provide therapy to paediatric and adult participants, including participants with ASD, ADHD, developmental delay, intellectual disability and other developmental or neurological conditions.
- Develop individualised therapy programs to improve participants' functional communication and independence.
- Prepare NDIS reports, progress reports and End-of-Plan review reports.
- Provide recommendations for communication-related Assistive Technology (AT), including AAC where appropriate.
- Liaise and collaborate with families, support workers, schools and other allied health professionals as required.

Requirements
You are required to have:
- Relevant qualification in Speech Pathology.
- Current Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) membership
- Professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
- Current Police Check.
- Working with Children Check.
- Unrestricted Australian working rights.
- Current Australian Driver Licence.
- Ability to reliably commute or travel across Melbourne as required.
Experience
- Speech pathology: 1 year (Preferred).
- Experience working with NDIS participants (Preferred).
- Experience with paediatric and/or disability caseloads (Preferred).
