About the Role
We are looking for someone with experience or technical knowledge in client services, laboratory operations and sample receipt, who is ready to take the next step in their career.
Based at our brand-new state of the art laboratory in Smithfield , your primary responsibilities will include delivering exceptional support to our existing client base, as well as providing leadership and development to the Client Services and Bottle Dispatch teams.
This is a full-time position - Monday to Friday 09:00am – 5:15pm
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Client and Customer Service
Leadership and development of the Client Services and Bottle Dispatch teams.
Co-ordination of couriers
Facilitating the resolution of client queries in a timely and professional manner.
Preparation and review of monthly service reports for major clients and projects.
Communicating to clients via phone and email.
Face-to-face meetings to maintain existing relationships with our clients and ensure overall compliance with ALS initiatives, including actively marketing the services of the laboratory.
Manage daily workflow, including delegation and coordination of tasks.
General administration tasks including using LIMS to manage contact details and preparing invoices.
Liaise with BD, Quality, Technical and Laboratory Managers to keep them up to date with client changes /requirements.
The Essentials:
Demonstrated team leadership skills and ability to coordinate tasks, network and work collaboratively.
Diploma or degree in science is essential
A positive client focus and quality service attitude.
Team orientated with ability to collaborate across different teams.
Confidence to be decisive, making independent decisions and prioritising tasks.
A focus on quality with good attention to detail.
Skills in planning and project monitoring.
Ability to develop strong external and internal working relationships.
Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Previous client service or management experience.
Laboratory experience and technical ability would be ideal but is not essential.
