Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a People & Culture strategy, reflective of the ethos and values of Mercy Ministry Companions (MMC).
- Lead workforce planning, recruitment, retention and succession strategies
- Oversee performance management and employee relations
- Drive Work Health & Safety and Psychosocial Safety systems.
- Deliver learning and leadership development strategies which strengthen workforce capabilities.
- Lead communications, brand and stakeholder engagement
- Provide strategic advice to the CEO, Executive and Board
- Contribute to risk, compliance and organisational performance
Qualifications:

A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, preferably as a Chief People Officer or similar.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience in change management and organisational development.
- Ability to analyse data and use metrics to drive HR decisions.
