Why join us as our Senior Financial Accountant?
Reporting to our Financial Accounting Manager, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and delivering high-quality financial accounting support across the UCC Coffee Group. You’ll own the month‑end processes, manage fixed assets and capital expenditure end-to-end process, support audit, statutory reporting and tax compliance, and contribute to budgeting/forecasting and financial insights that help drive informed decision‑making. You’ll also have opportunities to contribute to project work, supporting process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
What you'll do

Own month‑end activities and balance sheet reconciliations.

Support financial reporting, budgeting/forecasting, and variance analysis, providing insights to the business.

Manage fixed assets, capital work‑in‑progress, lease accounting, and maintain accurate CAPEX records.

Manage tax compliance (e.g. GST, FBT, WHT), intercompany reconciliations, and prepare/review consolidated cash flow forecasts.

Maintain general ledger integrity, support year‑end audit/statutory reporting, and drive improvements in systems, controls, and processes.
About you?
You may have been in a senior financial accountant role for a couple of years and are now looking for a change, or you might be ready to step up from your current position - we’re open! Ideally, you’ll come from an FMCG or fast‑paced environment and be comfortable navigating ambiguity with a flexible, solutions‑focused mindset. You’ll also have:

5+ years’ experience in financial accounting - including month-end close, reconciliations, audit, statutory reporting and tax compliance with exposure to commercial finance.

CA or CPA qualified.

Strong Excel capability and ideally with experience in JDE E1 and Report Now systems.

Strong organisational and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

An ability to perform well under pressure, and juggle multiple priorities at any one time.
