Under the direction of the Environmental Health Coordinator, assist in the development and delivery of Environmental Health education programs and undertake Environmental Health tasks with clients and Aboriginal Communities including but not limited to pest control, assist with community clean-ups, dog health program and preventative health promotion and other tasks as directed by the Environmental Health Coordinator.

ESSENTIAL:
- Certificate II or higher in Environmental Health or a willingness to obtain qualification;
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong and productive partnerships with the Aboriginal Communities and liaise effectively with key stakeholders;
- Demonstrated skills in implementing and managing Environmental Health presentations and or activities;
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to relate well to team members and a broad range of client needs;
- Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality and a high level of accuracy;
- Well-developed problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively determine priorities to ensure deadlines are met;
- Ability to travel regularly and stay overnight/s;
- Work effectively as a member of a team in an environment of competing priorities; and
- Proficient computer usage skills;
- Current Working With Children Check;
- Current Police Certificate (valid within 3 months);
- WA “C” Class drivers’ licence;
DESIRABLE:
- Two years’ experience in Environmental Health;
