We work closely with designers, builders, and architects on a diverse range of projects, ensuring our work remains varied, challenging, and rewarding.Tasks and responsibilities
- Interpret technical drawings, specifications and work orders to determine manufacturing and installation requirements for custom cabinetry and furniture projects.
- Select and prepare suitable materials, including solid timber, veneers, particleboard, laminates and other engineered wood products, for fabrication and installation.
- Manufacture custom furniture, cabinetry and joinery items in accordance with approved plans, measurements and client specifications.
- Assemble and install cabinetry, furniture and joinery components for residential kitchens, bathrooms and commercial fit-out projects.
- Fit and adjust hardware components, including hinges, drawer runners, locks, catches, shelving systems and other furniture fittings.
- Apply surface finishes and protective coatings to completed cabinetry and furniture to achieve the required appearance and durability.
- Carry out on-site installation work, ensuring products are fitted accurately and meet project and client requirements.
- Maintain quality standards throughout the manufacturing and installation process, including checking measurements, finishes and functionality.
- Assist with the organisation and day-to-day operation of the workshop, including material handling, workflow coordination and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues, supervisors and clients to ensure projects are completed to specification and within required timeframes.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A relevant Certificate III qualification (or equivalent) and
- At least four years of relevant post-qualification work experience as a Cabinet Maker.
- A valid Construction White Card.
- A current manual driver's licence.
- The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
We offer:The role is for a full-time position with an annual salary between $90,000 and 100,000 per year. The salary will be determined based on qualification and experience. Australian citizens and holders of Australian Permanent Resident visas are encouraged to apply.
Pay: $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
