Details: VisitCanberra, the ACT’s destination marketing organisation, is seeking a Content Marketing Officer to join the marketing team.
In this role, you will be responsible for producing and publishing high quality written, photographic and video content to VisitCanberra’s owned and partner channels, administration of the Content Library, and providing administrative support to the team including the coordination of finance processes. The role performs a supportive function to the breadth of the marketing team’s deliverables including delivery of famils, photography/videography shoots, publication production and publishing, delivery of content partnerships, and contributing to other tasks as required.
This role offers diversity in what your day-to-day looks like. Daily tasks can range from crafting a photoshoot brief, writing copy to run in international media, developing publications or working with a partner to provide content requirements, all in pursuit of the ACT Government’s T2030 vision to make Canberra “a thriving, sustainable destination that benefits Canberrans”.

Eligibility/ Other Requirements:

Knowledge of the tourism industry is desirable

A qualification in marketing, public relations, communications or a related discipline is desirable and/or relevant work experience is required

Current Australian driver’s licence

Ability to work flexible hours and travel as required
Note: A merit pool will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. Opportunities for flexible working options could include hybrid working, being a combination of working from home, designated office based and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT, part-time hours, job-sharing, flexible start, and finish times.
