We have a client based in Minchinbury looking for a dynamic Warehouse Assistant.
Our client is a growing Australian based business in the Hardware/ locks industry.
We are looking for someone enthusiastic that will be responsible for picking, packing, receiving goods and be trained to serve customers at the counter.
Previous experience within the Hardware/ Locksmith Industry (Bunnings or similar) and advantage.
You must be comfortable to lift 18kgs. Females are encouraged to apply.
The role:
- Monday - Friday dayshift
- Rate: $33.00- $35.50 per hour
- Casual view to permanent.
Responsibilities:
- Take directions and liaise with team members.
- Carry out order picking and packing, ensuring items are packed securely for shipment and labelled correctly.
- Lifting up to 18kg.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
About You:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- IT literacy and proficient computer skills are essential for this role.
- LO/LF Forklift (preferred).
- MR drivers' license (preferred or willingness to obtain)
- Full Australian driver's license required
- experience in a similar industry an advantage.
Successful candidate must also pass a national police check.
