Duties:
- Preparing and reviewing client contracts and quotes for landscaping and fencing projects; negotiating scope, price and timeline variations arising from site conditions, material changes or client requests.
- Handling client enquiries and complaints regarding project scope, delays, defects or billing; liaising with property owners, neighbours and site occupants to resolve access or boundary issues.
- Maintaining contract files, variation orders, permits (fencing/pool safety compliance), supplier invoices and job completion records.
- Coordinating with site supervisors, landscape designers, surveyors and property owners to ensure projects are delivered to specification and on schedule.
- Reporting contract risks, cost overruns and client disputes to the Director/Owner; implementing agreed pricing, staffing or scheduling decisions.
- Monitoring subcontracted fencing and landscaping crews for compliance with contract terms; documenting and reporting variations to work orders.
- Drafting tender submissions and quotes for council, commercial and residential contracts; preparing progress and completion reports for clients.
- Tracking project costs, materials usage and timeframes against budget; reporting outcomes to management to inform future quoting and resourcing.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Advanced Diploma or higher
Experience:
At least 3 years working as a Contract Administrator in a similar industry.
