About the Business
PropertyProjects Q Pty Ltd is a well-established, privately owned investment business based in Coorparoo, Brisbane, with over 52 years of successful operation. Our business spans an extensive portfolio of commercial and residential properties across greater Brisbane, active Australian and international share market investment, and the administration of a multi-entity private investment structure.
We are a small, close-knit office of three people. The principal owner is transitioning to a reduced role, which creates a genuine opportunity for the right person to take on real responsibility and become a key part of how this business continues to run at a high standard. This is not a junior support role — it is an opportunity to be trusted with, and to own, the administration and accounts function of a well-organised and financially sound business.
About the Role
You will work closely with our long-term asset manager and the principal director, managing a broad range of office, accounting, and property administration functions. No two days are the same, and the variety is genuine. Responsibilities include:
- Full accounts function: data entry, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and preparation of accounts to draft tax return level
- QuickBooks Enterprise (primary accounting software) and BGL for superannuation fund administration
- Tenant communication: responding to queries, managing slow payers, and maintaining tenancy records across a commercial and residential portfolio
- Share and securities investment record-keeping across Australian and international holdings
- Preparation of correspondence, leases, and legal documents from templates
- Supplier management and trade contractor coordination
- General office administration including filing, reporting, and meeting minutes
- Property research, market analysis, and rental review support

- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software; BGL experience is advantageous
- Genuine commercial alertness, sound judgment, and a problem-solving attitude
