Do your best nursing outside of a hospital.
At Just Better Care, our Registered Nurses go where the care really counts - into people's homes, where independence matters and every visit makes a difference. If you're looking for meaningful clinical work with real variety, genuine flexibility, and a team that has your back, this could be the role for you.
What you'll be doing
You'll carry a clinical caseload across the Wide Bay-Burnett region, delivering high-quality, personalised care to aged care clients in their own homes. That means:
- Complex clinical care including medication administration, palliative care, catheter and stoma care, bowel care, and oxygen therapy
- Monitoring and reporting on client wellbeing and health progress
- Collaborating with GPs and allied health professionals
- Providing mentoring, coaching, and skills assessments for our Community Support Professionals and Enrolled Nurses
- Keeping great records using our digital care platform (don't worry - it's straightforward)
No two days look the same, and that's exactly how our nurses like it.
Who we're looking for
You don't need to have worked in community care before, but you do need to be the kind of nurse who genuinely cares about the people in front of you.
You'll thrive here if you're:
- Clinically confident and committed to best practice
- A clear communicator -with clients, families, and colleagues alike
- Comfortable working independently while still being a team player
- Reliable, adaptable, and happy on the road
What you'll need
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (essential)
- Current Australian Driver's Licence and your own reliable, insured vehicle (essential)
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain one
- Current CPR/First Aid Certificate
- Evidence of ongoing professional development
- COVID-19 vaccination (where required)
- Community, aged care, or health sector experience (preferred but not required)
