The services available in Lithgow hospital include Domiciliary care unit, Emergency department, Geriatric assessment unit, Obstetric services, Paediatric service, Drug and Alcohol unit.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Occupational Therapist to join our supportive and collaborative team. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality occupational therapy services across a diverse caseload while contributing to the growth and development of a valued rural health service.
As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will provide evidence-based assessment, intervention and rehabilitation services to adult inpatients at Lithgow Hospital, as well as community-based adult clients and a small paediatric caseload. Working across a variety of clinical areas, you will play a key role in supporting patients to achieve their goals, maximise independence and improve their quality of life
This position also provides the opportunity to share responsibility for supervision of the Allied Health Assistant, support professional development within the team, and contribute to service improvement initiatives. You will work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues in a welcoming and supportive environment that values innovation, collaboration and patient-centred care.
