Join a dedicated team at Bowral Hospital where you’ll play a vital role in supporting patient care, maintaining safety, and contributing to a secure and well‑functioning hospital environment.
- Support patient care delivery — Assist nursing staff with patient comfort, mobility, pre‑operative preparation, and reporting observations to ensure high‑quality care.
- Provide safe patient transport — Porter patients across the facility for ward transfers, appointments, and procedures, supporting efficient bed flow and access to services.
- Maintain ward and facility operations — Contribute to smooth ward functioning by moving equipment, making unoccupied beds, supporting cleaning tasks, and adhering to manual handling and infection control standards.
- Respond to security and emergency situations — Assist with de‑escalation or restraint when required, conduct internal and external patrols, monitor CCTV, and support responses to all emergency codes.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team — Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and visitors, contribute to a positive team environment, and uphold professionalism in high‑pressure or challenging situations.
