About the role
Reporting to the Manager, Assurance and Compliance – Third Party Provider Services, the Senior Compliance Officer leads risk-based compliance programs that support the safe and effective delivery of Heavy Vehicle and Motorcycle Licensing Programs and the Behaviour Change Program. The role provides expert advice on compliance, risk, information security, and regulatory requirements, and prepares clear reports for internal and external stakeholders.
The role leads and develops a team of Compliance Officers, fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture. It builds strong relationships with program owners and service providers, drives continuous improvement, supports quality compliance outcomes, and adapts effectively to changing business needs.

Qualifications and experience
You’ll bring:

A formal qualification in Commerce, Risk, or Business would be considered beneficial or proven relevant audit / compliance assurance related service and leadership experience

Current and valid driver’s licence
Pre-employment checks and employment conditions
Relevant pre-employment screening and reference checks will be required.
Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa necessary for the nature of the position.
