About Our Practice
Our family-owned dental practice is looking to expand the team! We see a wide variety of patients and procedures at our two-chair general practice in the heart of the Norwest business district. We have built our reputation on compassionate care to the whole family.
About the Vacancy
We are looking to hire a full-time team member starting immediately.
The position will be for a clinical coordinator that is passionate about the growth of the practice. This position will be like the "glue" of the clinic - entrusted to keep everything running smoothly and works closely with the practice owner and manager to set and meet KPI's. You will be required to work through all aspects of the business - from chairside duties to the sterilisation area and even marketing and treatment coordination - to develop systems that ensure compliance and success.
About You
We require a minimum of 3 years' of experience in general practice.

We are looking for someone with impeccable personal presentation and grooming, who works well independently and as part of a team, takes direction, and shows initiative by taking on new challenges. You will be executing business administrative tasks as well as contributing your own ideas and training on their implementation.
The main duties of this role will include:
- Monitor and report on key practice metrics to drive continuous improvement and meet targets
- Liaise with dental professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure the highest standards of service
- Manage administrative functions of the practice, including patient records, billing and insurance claims processing
- Chairside assisting
- Infection control procedures
- Oversee the recruitment, training and management of administrative and support staff
- Implement and maintain policies, procedures and systems to improve practice efficiency and productivity
- Manage staff rostering, inventory, ordering and maintenance of all practice supplies and equipment
- Foster a positive and patient-centric work environment
Some other skills you should possess are:
- Proficiency with OASIS or Dentally, good computer skills, and a growth mindset
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Clear and concise phone skills
- Top-tier customer service
- Great ability to multitask
- Calm, caring, welcoming, and organised nature
