Fit For Kids Co. is looking for an enthusiastic MyGolf Coach to join our team delivering fun, modified golf programs for primary school-aged children across Melbourne’s inner east.
This is initially a casual holiday program role, with the opportunity for ongoing work through our before-school, after-school and school-based programs.
About the role
Our programs are designed to introduce children to golf in a fun, accessible and engaging environment. We use modified equipment and games to make golf suitable for school ovals, synthetic areas, indoor courts and other non-traditional golf environments.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience coaching or working with primary school-aged children
- Has a good understanding of golf fundamentals
- Ideally has experience with modified junior golf equipment such as GolfWay, SNAG Golf or similar
- Understands that junior introductory golf should be fun and game-based, rather than overly technical
- Is confident managing groups of children and creating an energetic, positive environment
- Is reliable, organised and comfortable working independently
- Holds, or is willing to obtain, a valid Working With Children Check
- Has reliable transport to programs around Malvern, Hawthorn and surrounding suburbs
Formal golf coaching qualifications are highly regarded, but aren’t essential if you have strong golf knowledge and experience working with children.
Hours & opportunity
The initial work will be during Victorian school holiday periods, generally between 9:00am–1:00pm, with the potential to expand into regular school-term coaching.
Ongoing opportunities may include before-school, after-school, lunchtime and school incursion programs as we continue to expand our MyGolf offering across Melbourne.

Fit For Kids Co. delivers junior sport programs in partnership with schools, councils and health organisations across Melbourne. Our focus is on creating positive first experiences with sport and helping children develop the confidence and skills to stay active for life.
For our MyGolf programs, we use modified equipment and game-based activities to bring golf directly onto school campuses, making the sport accessible to children who may otherwise never have the opportunity to try it.
