Wellness Manager / Member Experience Leader
Full-time or Part Time depending | $65,000–$75,000 + commission + wellness drink royalties + company vehicle
We are the premium 24/7 training and recovery facility in Airport West. We're not a beginner-focused chain; our members train consistently and know what they're doing, and our wellness wing (infrared and traditional saunas, red light bed, hyperbaric chamber, ice baths, contrast therapy private suite, and compression boots) is a core part of what we offer. This is a new facility, so we want someone who'll help shape the space and the vibe, lead it end to end, and build their own team around it, not just run what's already there.
What you'll do
- Lead the wellness offering end-to-end and shape your own team
- Help create the space and atmosphere, the look, the feel, the energy members walk into
- Run the wellness wing day-to-day recovery suites, bookings, standards, and member education on how to use it, add-ons for saunas (oils/salts)
- Design and own the wellness programming and the wellness drink menu
- Lead member experience: onboarding, retention, and making sure every member feels looked after
- Support membership sales, cafe, and upsells (this is where your commission sits)
- Own cleanliness and presentation across the floor- non-negotiable for us
- Train and support staff, and pitch in on front desk and general ops as needed
What we're after
- Passionate about all things wellness, this is the heart of the role
- Background as a wellness manager, or wellness experience aboard a superyacht, would be ideal
- Real understanding of training and recovery
- Comfortable with sales and targets, not put off by them
- A natural leader who sets the tone and standard, and can build and run a team
- An eye for atmosphere and presentation, and pride in how a space feels
- Reliable, well-presented, and genuinely good with people
- Cert III/IV in Fitness or similar is a plus, not essential
