SMG Façade Pty Ltd is looking for Glaziers(multiple openings) to join their team.
Position Summary:
Install, repair, replace, and maintain glass, aluminium glazing systems, windows, doors, curtain walls, balustrades, skylights, and façade components in residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, and glazing schedules.
- Measure, cut, process, and install glass products to project specifications.
- Install aluminium windows, doors, curtain wall systems, skylights, and façade glazing.
- Install framed and frameless glass systems, balustrades, and architectural glazing.
- Fit glazing seals, gaskets, setting blocks, and waterproofing components.
- Remove and replace damaged glass and glazing systems.
- Conduct site measurements and verify dimensions prior to fabrication and installation.
- Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with project specifications and Australian Standards.
- Operate glazing tools, lifting equipment, and specialised installation equipment safely.
- Work at heights and follow WHS requirements and site safety procedures.
- Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, builders, and other trades.
- Maintain records of completed works and report defects or non-conformances.
- Ensure all glazing works comply with NCC requirements and relevant Australian Standards.
Skills Required:
- Glass installation and replacement

- Reading technical drawings

- WHS compliance
Experience and Qualification required:
· Minimum 1 year of experience as a Glazier
· AQF Certificate III in Glass and Glazing (or a closely related field) or above
· Skilled in the operation of power tools used in windows and door installation
· Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform work with precision
· Commitment to workplace health and safety
Salary: $80,000-$90,000/year +Super
Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
