We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and energetic Marketing Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time hybrid role, with Monday and Tuesday based at our Edinburgh North office and the flexibility to work remotely on other days.
Reporting to our Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for helping to coordinate and execute marketing strategies that drive sales and brand awareness for the Barossa Fine Foods portfolio of brands. Working on a variety of channels across retail and Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) markets, this role will have a direct influence on the exciting growth trajectory of our brands, while operating in a collaborative, supportive, and agile team.

Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Implementation of the FY27 Marketing Calendar, assistance in the creation/coordination of necessary assets required for execution

Social media execution including content creation, scheduling, maintenance, monitoring and analysis

Creation of content to promote the brands within the Barossa Fine Foods portfolio

Maintenance & implementation of the brand look & feel across the business

Execution and analysis of EDM marketing campaigns for consumer databases

Assisting in the creation and implementation of growth strategies for the ongoing expansion of our Fine Foodie membership program

Assistance in the coordination of asset creation including graphic design, photoshoots & video shoots in line with strategic and brand objectives

Coordination and execution of key events for consumers and trade

Maintenance and continuous improvement of Barossa Fine Foods’ portfolio of brands’ websites

Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to identify and implement collaboration opportunities that will increase Barossa Fine Foods’ brand presence, awareness and sales
To achieve success in this role, you will have:

Demonstrable skills with social media posting, engagement & analysis

Basic understanding of EDM campaign creation

Experience with content creation such as blogs, video creation etc.

Excellent time management and organisation skills to balance multiple projects, prioritise jobs and meet deadlines

Awareness of current social and marketing trends and consumer behaviour

A self-starting motivation
-
A positive and dynamic approach

Experience in Meta and Google paid advertising desirable

Experience with graphic design & tools such as Canva & Adobe highly desirable

B2C, retail or FMCG marketing highly desirable
