Edge Fit is a boutique 1:1 personal training studio in Hunters Hill with five trainers on the floor. Our clients are mostly 35 to 75, getting back to training around stiff shoulders, cranky hips, old injuries and a lot of desk hours. We have a treatment room ready and we are looking for an experienced remedial or sports massage therapist to run it.
This is not a room rental. You come on as a casual employee. We send you the clients, we handle the bookings and the payments and you get paid for the hours you treat.
Two client streams:
Our personal training clients, for pre and post training recovery, mobility work and injury management alongside their trainer.
Your own standalone caseload of chronic pain and ongoing musculoskeletal clients who are not training with us.
What we are looking for:
Diploma of Remedial Massage (HLT52021) or equivalent
Current association membership (ATMS, AAMT, ANTA or similar) and professional indemnity insurance
Health fund provider numbers, or eligibility to obtain them, so your clients can claim
Real experience with chronic pain and ongoing musculoskeletal presentations, not relaxation work only
Comfortable working alongside trainers, sharing a client and talking about their programming
Current first aid and CPR
What we offer:
$40 to $60 per hour, inclusive of casual loading
Paid per treatment hour. Being honest about how this works: you are paid for the hours you treat, not for gaps between bookings, so we would rather build your days up properly than have you sitting in an empty room
A private treatment room in an established studio. No rent, no fit out cost, no admin
Table, linen and consumables provided
A warm pipeline of existing clients from day one
Flexible days and room to grow the book at your own pace
