Operating Monday to Friday 6:30am - 2:30pm
Please note no public transport in Fairbairn. Must have own car and license
We are seeking a driven and talented Fulltime Chef to join our team at The Mess Cafe' located in Fairbairn. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a range of delicious meals to delight our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing ingredients and cooking a variety of meals to our high standards
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Assisting with food preparation and presentation
- Ordering stock
- Writing and costing of menus
- Following all health and safety protocols
- Knife Skills
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Chef in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality food
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Enthusiasm for creating delicious dishes and providing excellent customer service
