Airmark Ocean & Air Logistics is a freight forwarding and logistics company looking for an experienced HR Advisor, HR Manager or HR Consultant to join our team on a part-time basis, working one day per week.
The role is primarily remote, providing practical HR advice and support to our management team and employees across our operations in three states, with occasional attendance required at our Taren Point office in NSW.
This opportunity would suit an experienced HR professional looking for a flexible, ongoing arrangement and who enjoys working closely with management in a hands-on business environment.
The role will involve:
- Maintaining HR compliance and appropriate documentation
- Providing general HR support as required
The successful candidate will provide practical HR advice and support across a range of areas, including:
- Providing practical HR advice and guidance to management
- Employee relations and performance management
- Recruitment, onboarding, and employment processes
- Preparing and reviewing employment contracts
- Developing and maintaining HR policies and procedures
- Preparing and reviewing employment contracts
- Assisting with workplace issues, investigations, and disciplinary matters
- General HR compliance and support
- Providing advice on Fair Work requirements and Australian employment legislation
About you:
We are looking for an experienced HR professional who:
- Has previous experience working in an HR Advisor, HR Manager or HR Consultant role, preferably in a small to medium business environment.
- Has strong knowledge of Fair Work requirements and Australian employment legislation
- Is confident providing practical, commercially focused HR advice to management
- Has experience dealing with employee relations, performance, and disciplinary matters
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, approachable, and able to maintain confidentiality
- Can work independently and manage priorities with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working remotely while maintaining regular communication with management
- Experience in the freight forwarding, transport or logistics industry would be an advantage, but is not essential
