As we continue to grow nationally, we are seeking an experienced and passionate National Manager – Clinical, Safeguarding & Quality to provide strategic leadership across clinical governance, safeguarding, quality assurance, and service excellence.
This is a unique leadership opportunity for an experienced disability, health or community services professional who is driven by continuous improvement, clinical excellence, and positive outcomes for people with disability.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and part of the Executive Leadership Team, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across the SACARE | ONCALL Group, ensuring our clinical services, safeguarding frameworks, and quality systems meet legislative, regulatory and best-practice requirements.
You will lead the development and maintenance of robust clinical governance systems, oversee safeguarding and quality initiatives, support innovation in service delivery, and ensure compliance with the NDIS Practice Standards and Quality & Safeguards Framework.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership & Governance

Provide clinical leadership across the organisation.

Oversee the development and review of care plans for individuals with high and complex health needs.

Lead clinical governance, policy development, and professional practice standards.

Provide expert clinical advice and support to operational teams.

Support onboarding and ongoing oversight of customers with complex clinical needs.

Lead clinical investigations and incident management processes.
Safeguarding & Quality

Lead safeguarding strategy, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Chair monthly ACRM meetings.

Develop and review safeguarding policies and procedures.

Oversee incident management, investigations, and reporting processes.

Drive quality assurance activities, audits, and service reviews.
-
Foster a culture that prioritises safety, quality, dignity, and inclusion.

Represent ONCALL in external sector forums and industry networks.

Leadership & Improvement

Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams.

Champion innovation and evidence-based practice.

Build strong stakeholder relationships across the organisation and broader community.

About You
You are a strategic and influential leader who combines strong clinical knowledge with exceptional quality and safeguarding expertise. Brings energy and collaboration to quality and safeguarding, ensuring compliance becomes a passion that our teams want to be part of. Works collaboratively across teams to embed quality and safeguarding practices in ways that are practical, engaging, and genuinely valued by our teams, not just another compliance box to tick.
You will bring:
Essential

Demonstrated leadership experience within the disability sector.

Experience managing clinical outcomes and governance frameworks.

Strong knowledge of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards environment.

Outstanding stakeholder engagement and relationship-management skills.

Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications
Desirable

Registration with AHPRA and demonstrated maintenance of professional registration requirements.

Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across multiple service streams.
