Highton Clinic is seeking a Part-Time Vocationally Registered (VR) General Practitioner to consult from our well-established, privately owned family practice.
Conveniently located in the vibrant Highton Village, the practice is surrounded by popular cafes and shops and is just a short stroll from the picturesque Barwon River.
Geelong is the gateway to the Great Ocean Road, with world-class beaches less than 30 minutes away. Melbourne is easily accessible, just one hour by car or train.
Our practice currently supports 9 independent medical practitioners and 1 GP Registrar. Experienced practice nurses and administration staff provide excellent clinical and administrative support. We are also conveniently located close to the region’s two major private hospitals and their associated specialist consulting suites, with pathology services available nearby within the Highton Village shopping precinct.
Due to the upcoming retirement of one of our independent medical practitioners, an opportunity exists for a permanent GP to consult 3 days per fortnight—every Thursday and every second Friday.
Additional short-term consulting sessions are also available to provide leave cover during an upcoming period of maternity leave, with the opportunity for extra sessions if desired.
