About the Role
We are seeking Registered Counsellor/ Psychotherapist to join our growing team to provide services via telehealth working from home. In this role, you will:
Key Responsibilities
· Deliver evidence-informed support interventions and strategies via telehealth or other remote mediums.
· Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify underlying factors and inform intervention strategies.
· Provide support and coaching to clients, carers, and teams to enhance skills and build capacity.
· Prepare high-quality, professional reports and plans, compliant with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission standards.
· All work must be carried out in accordance with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) framework, standards, and relevant legislation.
Qualifications & Requirements
Essential:
- Diploma or Tertiary qualifications Counselling and Psychotherapy .
- Counsellor-Must hold current membership with a recognized industry body. The two primary organizations for counsellors are:
1. Australian Counselling Association (ACA): You must be a registered member or
2. Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA): You must be listed as an Accredited PACFA Registrant (Certified Practising or Clinical member).
- Knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards and NDIS Framework,
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Australian work rights
- An ABN is a requirement for this role
- Laptop, Phone, Home office materials required (by commencement date)
- Professional Indemnity Insurance Minimum $250,000 and Public Liability Insurance (by commencement date)
Desirable:
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, and/or complex behaviours of concern.
What We Offer
