Comfort Home Care is seeking a caring, reliable and professional Macedonian Speaking Support Worker to join our team and provide high-quality in-home support to our clients.
The role is focused on domestic assistance, meal preparation, transport and companionship, helping our client maintain their independence, wellbeing and quality of life at home.
About the Role
As a Macedonian Speaking Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing domestic assistance within the client's home.
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting and general household cleaning.
- Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and living areas.
- Laundry, ironing and changing bed linen.
- Preparing fresh and nutritious meals according to the client's preferences and dietary requirements.
- Grocery shopping and assisting with household shopping when required.
- Providing safe and reliable transport to appointments, shopping and community activities.
- Supporting the client with community access and social activities.
- Providing friendly companionship and respectful social support.
- Maintaining a safe, clean and comfortable home environment.
- Following the client's individual support requirements and company procedures.
- Maintaining client privacy, dignity and confidentiality.
- Reporting any concerns regarding the client's wellbeing to management.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Fluent in Macedonian and English.

- Comfortable working independently in a client's home.
- Organised and able to manage time effectively.
- Confident communicating with older people.
- Comfortable preparing meals and completing household tasks.
- Professional and committed to providing high-quality support.
Essential Requirements
- Fluent spoken Macedonian and English.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
- Reliable and comprehensively insured vehicle.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check, where applicable.
- Current National Police Check.
- Working With Children Check, where required.
- Valid Australian working rights.
- Ability to provide 100 points of identification during onboarding.
Desirable
- Previous experience in aged care, disability support, community care or domestic assistance.
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Community Services or equivalent.
- Previous experience supporting Macedonian-speaking clients.
- Experience with meal preparation and dietary requirements.
- Experience providing transport and community access.
