What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll be:
- Planning and developing personalised leisure activities that reflect residents' preferences and needs.
- Providing guidance to residents and their families, ensuring the best possible support for their lifestyle choices.
- Ensuring a varied and inclusive program that accommodates all levels of ability and encourages participation.
- Promoting social and physical engagement, helping residents maintain optimal function and independence.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to ongoing quality improvements and staff development.

What You Bring to the Role
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Certificate IV in Aging Support or equivalent qualification (Certificate IV in Leisure and Health) – essential.
- Extensive experience in a Lifestyle or Diversional Therapy role, particularly within aged care.
- A sound understanding of the needs and preferences of elderly residents, including cognitive decline and physical disabilities.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A current SA Driver’s Licence and DHS NDIS Worker Screening Check – essential.
