You may have been part of some big projects before, but this work is legacy-building.
You're looking to contribute to the transformation of the transport sector towards a greener and more sustainable future. You want to actively participate in shaping policies and initiatives that reduce carbon emissions, promote renewable energy adoption, and enhance the overall environmental performance of the transport network.
In this role, you'll:
Act as the primary interface with external agencies, including EnergyCo and DPHI/DCCEW, enabling the safe and efficient movement of oversize and over-mass renewable energy infrastructure (OSOM) into Renewable Energy Zones across the state.
You will provide strategic leadership in the assessment of network capability, using road network and service demand data to plan the safe and efficient movement of OSOM infrastructure, while incorporating community impact and consultation into planning, testing scenarios, and ensuring effective mitigation.
In partnership with the Communications team, you will shape engagement and correspondence with the community.
Ultimately, this role focuses on network capacity planning, whole-of-lifecycle modelling, operational readiness, and the management of interdependencies across the portfolio, while aligning stakeholders and supporting critical path delivery of renewable infrastructure in a complex, multi-agency environment.
This is a permanent position. There will be ad hoc travel with advanced notice to site locations. The home office location is 231 Elizabeth Street however regional based candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
It is embedded within the team’s established ways of working and supports collaborative delivery. Flexible hybrid work options are available to promote balance and productivity.
