The core capability requirements for this role are:
Identify administrative changes and training gaps; deliver training to SOC officers to ensure compliance with international ISO standards, procedures and forensic services best practice.
Initiate and conduct comprehensive administrative reviews and collaboratively develop administrative processes and strategies.
Provide feedback to forensic officers on forensic case files to ensure compliance with international quality assurance standards.
Perform administrative risk assessments and identify and analyse compliance trends in support of quality improvements to mitigate risks within forensic service delivery.
Collaborate to identify, develop, implement, and maintain efficient office systems and procedures to enhance productivity and streamline FSG operations for the Officer in Charge Scenes of Crime, Forensic Coordinator and Forensic Manager.
Establish and maintain effective internal and external communication channels to ensure positive service delivery to police and the community.
Provide administrative support to forensic crime scene operations and provision of data to assist projects on behalf of the Officer in Charge Scenes of Crime, Forensic Coordinator and Forensic Manager to ensure effective information management and accurate reporting for the courts of law.
Process expenditure and other vouchers and maintain financial records including corporate card usage and reconciliation.
