We are seeking a talented General Practice Nurse to join our dedicated team at Medical Practice in Panania. This is a full-time/part time role depending on your availability. As a General Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the overall operations of our medical practice.
What you'll be doing
- Providing nursing care and support to patients visiting the practice
- Assisting doctors with examinations, treatments and procedures
- Administering vaccinations and managing immunisation programs
- Conducting health assessments, health education and chronic disease management
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensuring the practice's clinical areas and equipment are well-maintained and compliant with infection control standards
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver coordinated patient care
What we're looking for
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Minimum 1 year experience working as a General Practice Nurse or
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work autonomously
- Recall and reminder knowledge
- Chronic disease management (Preparing Care Plans and Health Assessments)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and the healthcare team
- Demonstrated proficiency in maintaining accurate clinical documentation and data entry
- Commitment to continuing professional development and staying up-to-date with nursing practices
- Nurse immunisation
