The role
The Contract Manager position within the Marine Logistics and Aviation Section of the CMSB provides ISS, logistics and medical services for vessels and aviation services all delivered through various contracts. The work includes managing complex contracts, managing fleet ISS arrangements for vessels, and providing a range of briefings given the high-profile nature of the services.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Contract Manager will vary depending on the complexity of the contract. Responsibilities may include:
- Provide advice, reports, plans, and high-quality written briefs to the Executive on business, contractual, and financial aspects of the contracts.
- Manage contracts and deliver all aspects of sound contract management practice.
- Support budget development, financial management and forecasts.
- Lead a small team to deliver high quality outputs within specified timeframes.
About You
- Possess or able to obtain and maintain an NV1 security clearance and Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC).
- Qualifications and/or substantial experience in complex, HRHV contract management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder negotiation.
- Marine and/or marine contract management, and/or aviation contract managed experience, is highly desired but not essential.
