An opportunity has developed at our Fountain Gate store, and we are now seeking a driven Assistant Manager to join the team.
This is a front-of-house role at heart in a busy store. You'll be the one building rapport with customers, driving sales, and making sure every visit leaves them wanting to come back. You'll also get hands on in the workshop when needed, so you understand the job as well as you sell it.
What you'll be doing:
- Owning the customer experience front of house, building rapport, identifying needs, and using our sales processes to deliver genuine upsells.
- Assisting the Store Manager in hitting monthly sales targets
- Keeping the workshop organised and on track to meet sales and safety KPIs
- Getting hands on when required, including fitting tyres, carrying out safety checks, completing video inspections, and wheel alignments
- Thinking on your feet to solve problems and keep the day running smoothly
- Stepping up to run the store in the Manager's absence
- Working Saturdays as part of a full time role (no public holidays required)
What we're looking for:
- A driver's licence. That's it as a hard requirement
- A natural at sales and customer service, or clear potential to become one
- Someone comfortable balancing the front counter with workshop involvement
- Organised, proactive, and able to keep a workshop running to schedule
- Experience in tyres, automotive, or retail management is a strong plus, but attitude and leadership potential matter more

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
