Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Assist in the design, planning and technical assessment of solar energy systems for residential and commercial projects.
2. Conduct site assessments and collect technical information required for system design, installation planning and project implementation.
3. Prepare and review technical drawings, system layouts, specifications and installation documentation for solar energy projects.
4. Provide technical support and guidance to Field Supervisors and installation teams regarding system configuration, equipment selection and installation requirements.
5. Monitor project progress and coordinate with management, suppliers and installation teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently and in accordance with project specifications.
6. Assist in troubleshooting technical issues arising during installation, commissioning and maintenance of solar energy systems.
7. Evaluate system performance and prepare technical reports, recommendations and improvement plans to optimise operational efficiency and energy output.
8. Ensure solar energy systems and installation practices comply with relevant Australian Standards, safety requirements and industry regulations.
9. Liaise with clients, contractors and suppliers on technical matters relating to solar energy products, equipment and project delivery.
10. Research and evaluate new technologies, products and industry developments to support the Company's ongoing growth and service capabilities.
11. Maintain accurate project records, technical documentation and compliance-related reports.
Support the General Manager in project planning, quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives across the Company's solar installation operations.
Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
