This role is responsible for simulating, planning and treating patients with ionising radiation in a timely and efficient manner whilst maintaining technical radiation therapy standards. Working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will operate radiation therapy equipment safely in accordance with radiation safety and workplace health and safety requirements. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be crucial as you engage with patients, carers, staff members and students.
Our department has recently purchased upgraded IGRT capabilities with Varian HyperSight imaging and Eclipse TPS including RapidArc Dynamic, complimented with cRAD SGRT across all modalities. This transition provides increased opportunities for professional development and increased flexibility to support a healthy work/life balance.
