The Role: Part-Time Sales Consultant
This is a flexible, part-time role averaging 20 hours per week — built to fit around study, other commitments, or simply life. As you grow with us, there's a clear path to increase your hours and take on more responsibility.
You'll be the first voice many small business owners hear from Word of Mouth. Your job is to have real conversations, understand what a business actually needs, and show them how our platform solves it. No cold-calling strangers — you're working warm leads and businesses already listed on our directory.
What You'll Be Doing
- Reaching out to warm leads and re-engaging businesses already listed with us
- Guiding business owners through our platform with a consultative, no-pressure approach
- Diagnosing pain points and matching them to the right solutions
- Keeping your CRM pipeline accurate and up to date
- Contributing to a high-performance team culture built on learning and honesty
The Pay
$29-32/hr + super, with uncapped commission on top. Hit your targets and your earnings grow — there's no ceiling on what you can make.
What We're Looking For
You don't need a sales background. You need the right mindset.
Must-have:
- A confident, clear communicator — on the phone and in writing
- Self-motivated and organised — you don't need someone standing over you
- Resilient and goal-oriented — rejection doesn't derail you
- A natural problem-solver who figures things out
Great to have:
- Studying business, marketing, communications, or something similar
- Some familiarity with digital marketing or SaaS tools
- Previous remote or startup experience
