Senior Science teaching across Biology or Chemistry and/or Physics
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Science Teacher with expertise in Senior Biology &/or Chemistry &/or Physics. Working collaboratively with a dynamic team of dedicated educators, you will deliver high-quality Science programs, develop students' subject knowledge, critical thinking and scientific inquiry skills, and support strong academic outcomes.
The role also involves preparing students for external examinations and requires knowledge of QCAA accreditation and QCE processes, including Endorsement and Confirmation.
This role includes responsibility for student safety and wellbeing, requiring compliance with the College's Child Safe Standards, policies and procedures, and all relevant legislative and duty of care obligations.
This is a permanent full-time position commencing in 2027

About you
-
Relevant tertiary teaching qualifications majoring in Science.
-
Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT).
-
Demonstrated experience teaching Senior Science.
-
Expertise in Biology &/or Chemistry &/or Physics.
-
5+ years' teaching experience preferred, or experience at Senior Teacher level.

Experience and knowledge in preparing students for external examinations.

Knowledge of QCAA accreditation and QCE processes, including Endorsement and Confirmation.

Ability to plan and deliver exceptional Science teaching and learning programs aligned with ACARA and QCAA.

Passion for quality teaching and learning, with the ability to create a challenging environment that promotes strong student engagement and academic outcomes.
