About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Despatch Leading Hand to lead our despatch team based here at our Yatala facility. An essential role within this department, this position will see you coordinating our highly active team, ensuring goods to our customers are delivered 'in full' and 'on time' in line with company policies and procedures. The right candidate will possess a high level of attention to detail, and be able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate the daily despatch schedule

Ensure despatch instructions are being followed and rosters are complied with

Liaise with other departments as necessary

Check orders that are packed for despatch/export

Ensure checking and completion of transport documentation

Lead team and drive results within a manufacturing environment
Essential Requirements:
-
2 years’ experience in a similar role
-
Strong interpersonal skills and leadership qualities
-
Clear and articulate oral and written communication skills
-
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
-
Strong customer service and integrity
-
Ability to effectively influence actions and opinions of others
-
Experience with ERP systems or (Infor M3 or similar)
-
Current forklift licence
