What we are looking for (qualifications, registrations, experience)
We are seeking someone who can demonstrate:
experience in cyber security, information security, ICT risk, security operations or a related ICT discipline
the ability to analyse issues, gather and document relevant information, and appropriately escalate complex, sensitive or high-risk matters
practical knowledge of contemporary security risks, controls, frameworks and better-practice approaches
clear communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to explain technical risks and recommended actions in practical business language
sound judgement, confidentiality and the ability to manage competing priorities while working independently and collaboratively.
Experience with security operations tools, vulnerability assessment processes, incident management systems, SIEM platforms, endpoint protection, cloud security or Queensland Government security frameworks would be beneficial but is not mandatory.
