About Us
Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.
Collectively, Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and Court Services Victoria (CSV) are referred to as the ‘Courts Group'.

The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state. The MCV determines in excess of 200,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, dealing with over 90 percent of all adult cases that come before Victorian courts each year.

About the Role
Lead a high-impact team supporting some of the court's most complex and vulnerable users.
The Court Services Manager is a pivotal leadership role within the Magistrates' Court of Victoria, responsible for overseeing specialist programs that support individuals with complex needs. Reporting to the Senior Registrar, you will lead multidisciplinary teams and work closely with Judicial Officers and court leadership to deliver responsive, high-quality support services.
You will:

Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary team, including CISP, ARC, Family Violence practitioners, and Koori Court Officers

Oversee the delivery of therapeutic, evidence-based support services aligned to best practice

Guide the application of risk and needs assessments, case management, and support planning

Provide authoritative advice to inform court processes and judicial decision-making
-
Ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery aligned with legislative and practice frameworks

Build strong relationships with Judicial Officers, internal stakeholders, and community organisations

Drive continuous improvement, performance monitoring, and program outcomes
-
Foster a culturally safe and inclusive environment, particularly for First Nations staff and court users
About You
You will bring:

Experience leading high-performing, multidisciplinary teams

An understanding of solution-focused courts and therapeutic program delivery within the justice system

Brings expertise in therapeutic service delivery, case management, and complex needs

Knowledge of victim and people who use violence interventions
-
Strong capability in applying risk and needs assessment tools and developing effective case management and support plans
