Your new role:
As a Senior Clinical Measurement Scientist within the Cardiac Diagnostics Unit, you will deliver high-quality cardiac physiology and diagnostic services while contributing your expertise to clinical education, leadership and service improvement. You will:
Deliver complex cardiac diagnostic services, including echocardiography, pacing and/or electrophysiology, using evidence-based practice.
Provide clinical advice and act as a senior reference point within the Cardiac Diagnostics team.
Work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to support safe, patient-centred care.
Provide supervision, education and support to less experienced clinicians, students and support staff.
Contribute to clinical practice development, quality improvement, research and service innovation.
Manage and prioritise a complex workload while maintaining high standards of clinical care and service delivery.
About you:
We are looking for an experienced cardiac professional who brings strong clinical expertise, sound judgement and a commitment to high-quality patient care, with skills in:
Cardiac physiology, echocardiography, pacing or electrophysiology.
Complex clinical decision-making, workload management and prioritisation.
High-level communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills.
Providing clinical guidance, supervision and training to colleagues and students.
Applying evidence-based practice and contributing to service improvement initiatives.
Working independently while contributing effectively within an interprofessional team.
