We have proudly provided high-quality, mixed billing healthcare to our local community for over 25 years, supported by experienced and approachable practice management.
About the Role
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, reliable and experienced Casual Medical Receptionist to join our friendly reception team and work across our Beaconsfield and Belgrave South clinics.
This is a casual relief position, primarily created to provide coverage for our permanent part-time (PPT) reception staff when they are on annual leave, sick leave or otherwise unavailable.
The successful applicant will be comfortable working in a busy general practice environment and will be required to step into different shifts and locations as needed. Flexibility, reliability and the ability to quickly adapt to different situations are essential for this role.
Key Selection Criteria
- Previous experience working in a General Practice Clinic – essential
- Best Practice software experience – essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, friendly and confident manner when dealing with patients
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and a high level of reliability
- Ability to confidently manage a busy reception environment
- Flexibility to work across both Beaconsfield and Belgrave South
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts between 8:00am and 8:00pm
- Must be available to work Fridays, including morning and evening shifts
- Availability to provide regular relief coverage for our PPT reception staff
- Willingness to cover annual leave, sick leave and other staff absences as required
