Bread Social is looking for 2 Full-Time Pastry Chefs to join our professional team in our two locations:
- Currumbin Waters; and
- Tweed Heads
Experience in pastry production & viennoiserie is essential.
The ideal candidate must be excited by the art of baking and take pride in their work.
The successful candidate should have a minimum of 2-3 years experience in a similar role, with pastry experience. Relevant certifications is also a plus.
We are hoping for an enthusiastic, reliable and skilled person with a passion for organic, Australian and local produce. You are required to be organised, efficient and capable of delivering a consistent standard of work. Pastry production starts from 5am.
Skills required but not essential;
- Creating pastries, baked goods & veinnoiserie
- Pastry production & prep work
- Work deck ovens, monitoring and adjusting oven temperatures determined by baking times
- Monitoring stock levels of ingredients
- Able to work within a team
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of bakery cleanliness and hygiene
Pay rate/salary will be calculated on experience.
