About You
You are an experienced commercial lawyer with a minimum of 5 years' experience, bringing a strong track record from private practice or in-house roles within large organisations.
Your Experience & Expertise:
- Experience advising on major energy, infrastructure or resources projects, with a particular focus on land access, approvals and project development matters
- Strong experience advising on land tenure issues, including easements, licences, access arrangements, tenure rights and landholder negotiations
- Proven experience advising on native title matters, including Indigenous Land Use Agreements, future act processes and stakeholder engagement requirements
- Experience supporting cultural heritage matters, including compliance obligations, heritage agreements and Aboriginal cultural heritage considerations for infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of environmental and regulatory approvals frameworks relevant to major energy and infrastructure developments
- Experience supporting the development and delivery of linear infrastructure projects such as gas pipelines, transmission lines, renewable energy projects or transport infrastructure
- Ability to provide practical legal advice on land access strategies and approvals pathways to support project delivery and operational objectives
- Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating land access, tenure, heritage, project and commercial agreements
- Experience working closely with project development, approvals, land access, environmental and operational teams
- Ability to identify and manage legal, regulatory, environmental and stakeholder risks associated with major infrastructure projects
- Commercial and construction law experience, including advising on project delivery, procurement and contractor engagement arrangements
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with landholders, Traditional Owners, regulators, government agencies and project stakeholders

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear, practical and commercially focused advice
- Strong attention to detail while maintaining focus on broader project objectives and strategic outcomes
- Proactive and responsive, identifying issues early and helping project teams navigate challenges efficiently
